View from the Empire State Building, from about 2006 or so. My mom's boyfriend used to work on radio-type equipment there, so he got us up a couple floors over that giant cage they built to keep most people from jumping off.

The wall up there was only about waist-high, and it was a windy Winter day out there! Pretty exhilarating. There are a couple pictures of me by the wall with the city in the background, but that was back when I was a lot heavier and too lazy to trim this crappy little mustache that had grown out ^^;

Yeah, the cage blows. But they can't trust every schmuck who comes along, so there the cage is. Glad to have seen the view without it though

Great picture. I've never been there but I suppose you are very lucky to not have to be in the cage. First of all you are lucky to not be in my cage either > : )
